What a week we've had! The best part, by far, was Grandparents Day! The kids did a wonderful job singing God Bless America and God Bless the USA. What a special dedication to their grandparents. After the performance, the grandparents joined the kindergartners in our classroom where they participated together to complete some fun activities. The pictures only begin to tell the story of the memories that were shared!

Pumpkin Patch!
This last week we had our very first field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a blast! The kiddos went on a hunt looking for different sized pumpkins, pumpkins shaped like a sphere, pumpkins with a long stem, and even funny looking pumpkins. After their hunt, the kiddos had a great time jumping, riding, and petting! After our trip, back in the classroom, we completed an investigation on our pumpkins. Here are some pictures from our trip and investigation! (If you joined us on our trip, and have not emailed me pictures from your group, please sent them my way soon!)
Columbus Day
On Columbus Day, we had a great time learning how to draw a boat, exploring various activities having to do with spheres (the shape of Earth), sink or float, and other math and language arts skills. Here are some pictures from our day!
