50s Day!!

This week, we celebrated our 50th day of school with a 50s Sock Hop! These pictures speak for themselves! We had an amazing time! Throughout the day we: discussed some difference between the 1950s and today, learned how to make a root beer float, practiced some bubble gum blowing, wrote numbers to 50, measured using tootsie rolls, skip counted to 50, made a graph 50s style, and danced to a few 50s songs! The kiddos had an opportunity to order themselves a root beer float and take a morning drive in our 50s style car!
